addicts collectors have a wish list of nail polish colors they want but have not gotten yet. The discontinued and hard to find Essie Starry Starry Night(s) is the color that has been holding the #1 spot on my list for the past few years. Quite a few times I have been tempted to bid on this color on eBay, knowing that I would have to spend at least 150 to win it. I have seen this polish sell there for over 300 dollars. Insane, but I was almost sucked in. I have checked almost every nail salon and beauty supply for it within a 25 mile radius of my house, with no luck. I have, however, found a place filler for the moment. Cirque Tibetan Nights is not an exact dupe for Essie SSN, but its midnight blue jelly formula and silver glitter makes it close enough. One major difference is that TN has bar glitter in it and not just round glitter.
Here is three thin coats of Tibetan Nights. Polish was easy to work with, regardless of its jelly formula. Built up well. Finished with Seche Vite top coat
Although I have never seen Essie Starry Starry Night(s) in person, I think I just may like Cirque Tibetan Nights better…
Buuuut, if anyone has Essie SSN that they would like to get rid of or know a place to get it, I know someone who may be interested 😉
