Today has been extremely busy, so I am happy I was even able to get this much of a Fashion Friday post done. Only had time to finish two nails but I did not want to miss a week. This week’s look is inspired by Phillip Lim’s amazing color blocked piece from NYFW Spring 2013. I used Color Club Sheer Disguise as the base (two coats). Waited a day for it to dry because I used tape to help with the nail art color blocking. You can free hand it as well to save time. Then used Essie Mesmerize and a black sharpie marker. Voila.
Painting my nails based on trends from the runway and fashion magazines is my favorite way to get the look for less.
